The Lost Shul Mural Project and the Friends of the Lost Mural currently operate under the umbrella of Ohavi Zedek Synagogue and share its non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) status. Only the portion of your contribution that exceeds any gifts you receive is tax-deductible. As such, $28.00 of the $30.00 ticket price is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. (The remaining $2.00 is the estimated market value of the food served at the event, and is the value of the gift you receive. All other time and services involved with this event are being donated).
Any funds which you pay as a donation beyond the $30.00 ticket price are also tax-deductible. Additional donations are greatly appreciated.
