The mural was the subject of a feature story in Boston’s Jewish Advocate, one of the country’s leading Jewish newspapers. Written by Judy Manelis, the August 18, 2017 article introduces the mural and the restoration project to the Boston area Jewish community. Judy came to Burlington to see the mural, talk to members of the team, and learn about what’s to come. The story deals with the origins of the project, the moving of the mural and appropriately ends by informing the reader the story is not over. Though the mural has been saved, approximately $300,000 is still needed to complete the mural restoration, and another $150,000 for the exhibition and educational component.
